Project Overview: System designed for monitoring of pressures during drilling well control operations, and the control of choke and gate valves on associate Choke and Kill Manifold


(1) Local Control Panel (LCP)

  • LCP Footprint: 5’-7” L x 3’-3” W x 5’-3” H
  • Design Pressure: 3,000 psi
  • Consists of air-driven hydraulic pump, hydraulic reservoir, valve manifold and electrical enclosures

(1) Remote Control Panel (RCP)

  • Standalone 19” HMI to be installed in the Driller’s Control Room

Key Design Features:

  • Operation from either LCP or RCP in manual mode or automated mode
  • Control of (2) hydraulic gate valves and (2) Overboard gate valves located on the Choke and Kill Manifold
  • Monitors well pressures and mud pump strokes
  • Acquired Technical Passport for shipping to Russia
  • Area Classifications:

    • RCP – IECEx Zone 2
