In 2005, James “Butch” Ray and Paul Stutes turned a shared vision of designing and building safe, user-friendly hydraulic power and control systems into a reality by forming Stella Maris. From our humble beginnings, Stella Maris has now evolved into a large team of highly specialized professionals that custom engineer and manufacture state-of-the-art systems all under one roof in a 55,000-SF climate-controlled facility and 18 acres of useable property based in Lafayette, LA.

Working collaboratively, our professionals push the envelope of engineering and manufacturing by consistently redefining the boundaries of what is possible in ways that create immediate value for our customers.
